Welcome
to Bingo Variations |
|
Bingo is often played using the
full line rule set but there are
many interesting variations on the
game of bingo that can either
speed the game up, slow it down,
and make it overall more
interesting. Sealed bingo is one
such variation which is just like
regular full line bingo but in
reverse. Instead of players buying
a card and marking off numbers as
they are called, numbers are drawn
first, then players buy sealed
cards and compare them to the
pre-drawn numbers. If they have a
bingo they win a prize, which
differ depending on the rules and
the type of bingo. When the
jackpot for the numbers is won new
numbers are drawn and the game
starts over. Often sealed bingo is
not a game people sit and play but
an ongoing game, which is also Poisenville, that is more of an
impulse when people see the game
and want a quick shot at winning.

Another form of bingo
is called blackout
bingo. Blackout bingo
is very simple to
play. The goal of the
game is to fill your
entire card with marks
so that none remain.
The first person to
"blackout" their card
is the winner. Often
this format is used
after a standard game
of full line bingo in
situations where the
game was too quick and
extending the game
makes sure people
don't feel like they
wasted their money on
the current card. Many
other forms of bingo
exist as well but
there is a danger with
using bingo variations
over the standard
version, if people
expect regular bingo
and the rules chosen
are more confusing or
found less fun, fewer
people will come to
play and money will be
lost.
